This was fun to work on, but I honestly can't look at it any longer. I've been leaving it and then going back to it, working on it off and on, for such a long time, that I don't really know what I really wanted with it in the first place. But I'm content with it as it is now and would love to share it with you guys. It's been a while since I did a big digital piece like this! Kinda proud. I really should put more hours into digital practice.Made in GIMP

Haha, It would be really cool if I was able to create contrasts like these in a watercolor painting. Sadly I don't think I've mastered that yet. My watercolors always look a bit lighter, like this mystalia.deviantart.com/art/Th⦠, and don't have as much dark spots in them.

Thanks so much! This picture might be the first one I have ever painted that makes me feel like I made a worthwhile illustration that's not just practice or a stepping stone to bigger things. I think this is the first thing that actually made me go "This is finished, and great the way it is" in a long, long time.
