I'm not a big fan of pink color, but wanted to have a really custom appearance and decided to make it girly
looks so different from my windows desktop which is getting dull to me. I downloaded a colored icon pack from and chose pink window color in desktop settings.Wallpaper [link]

Good for you, finding out about Linux on your own! I actually heard about Linux from a friend, but didn't seriously consider installing it until my Windows Vista installation started acting strangely (it was running at least twice as slowly as it usually did, which is saying a lot for Vista). I finally got fed up with Windows, so I tried installing Ubuntu and found out that I liked it. So, here I am today, having tried Ubuntu and a few other distros.
