My pen is my earsFor it hears what is in my heart
My pen is my voice
For it speaks what it hears
It bleeds black
And has cut many
Listen for it’s screaming
Above the voice of others
I beg you please
I would love for anyone to understand me
To actually listen and not just hear
But no…
How foolish of me to expect that
Just like any other voice
I just speak my pain
My hopes
My fears
My dreams…
And nobody cares about these things
