"Spirit Guardian in the Forest"

Some fanart for the game "The Endless Forest" By Tale of Tales.

My first serious painting with the watercolor pencils got me as an early b-day present. ^^

I started this while doing art together on Skype with I had no reference for anything but the pictogram,
the antlers were the scariest part. O___O
I was going to make them a typical tan color but halfway through coloring them i changed my mind in a suicidal move to make them red of all things. Yeah i normally dont take risks like that, especially in a new medium like paint but it worked
out good so i got really lucky on that one. XD... -shot-

Once i finished the 'deer' was pretty much done for the day on her drawing (Im slow as hell.) So when we got off Skype i started The Endless Forest game so i could reference my pictogram, the 'halo' symbol you see above the antlers. Its unique to every deer in the game. So yes this is my actual in-game pictogram, so if you see it, or have seen it before while playing, thats me!

I havent found my favorite pelts, masks, or antlers yet (you can change them in the game) so i may look different from day to day for awhile. ^^
This one's kinda made up XD I wish i could have it.

Oh yeah while i was referencing my pictogram in the game, i layed down in a fairy circle, so i could gain the ability to turn others into animals. And this one deer came by, stood there for awhile and ran off, came back and changed my mask. o.o
Then she ran off again, came back, and did it again.
She repeated this like 8 TIMES!!! Lol.

I finally stood up and immediately turned her into a crow. XD
Lmao! I ran around with her a bit and laid down in the pond cuz i had to continue painting. Lol.
I LOVE THAT GAME.

The only thing that really bothers me is the mysterious black splotch that appeared in the halo/pictogram. :/ I was using the brush to color in the yellow and somehow black came out in the middle of me painting. O__O -glares at it-
