Felicia Hardy was a daughter of a business woman in Manhattan, New York and a renowned thief. She was then given a Super Soldier Serum making her into a super soldier herself.

Over the years, she was given the alias Black Cat and had become a thief. But during her encounters with the web-slinger, the friendly-neighborhood Spider Man, she had reformed and become one of his allies.

Black Cat is one of Spidey's friends who only know his true identity, and sometimes their relationship goes on and off.
