The image above is a work-in-progress preview of my comic-like illustration of The Brilliant Luminaro, my debut superhero character which I created for the new Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game. So far, I've spent 8 hours drawing, ink and colouring this illustration with pencils (i.e. granite black and non-photographic blue) and ink (i.e. fine liners and alcoholic marker pens). As of tonight, this illustration is almost complete. All I need to do now is colour in the background based on Winchester Cathedral in Hampshire, England."Born as the youngest descendant of an ancient Roman sorcerer who specialised in photokinesis and Hermetic magic, Virgile Neptuno, a multitalented but alienated young English graphic designer, strives to master his inherent magic abilities to change present-day society for the better."
