Psychotic, angered darkness.Sane, placid light.
Both fighting for true dominance,
But which one’s the real parasite?
Empty lies whispered from the light.
Empty threats shouted from the dark.
Nothing but a hollow man;
Which is the one to trust?
The darkness thrives on crime;
While the light thrives on peace.
A never ending inner battle.
Locked in each other’s insanity.
Together they have split the mind,
The body being a temporary prize.
There’s no freedom from the dark or light;
Not when the demons reside inside.
