The colored version of this is already posted on his own DA page but I feel like sharing this because it meant a ton to me back then and I still remember and appreciate this drawing now. Look at his gallery
There's something about sketches and lineart when compared to the drawings themselves. It's amazing to me to see sketches and lineart
Watching lines and characters come to life with lines or dots or other simple things makes me happy and coloring is something that is great too. I like each phase of a drawing, so showing sketches or lineart is something I feel like need shown more often.

I was surprised but very glad that the artist did their own idea. All I asked for was a mermaid sneezing, and they decided to do this uncommon idea. You are right
It was cool to me to see how the nose got pushed a little at first in order for the sneeze to happen. I love seeing why a sneeze happens

I was surprised how this turned out but I'm really happy with it. I think it's a cute kind of funny but also in a different way. It's strange to have a mermaid's pet octopus tease its master like this but I thought it was a funny idea. I also think it's really cute how her head fins open and tighten depending on her mood, and her sneeze causes her to have both happen XD
