And that's that.This comic is officially on hiatus. Ironic that it ends on this page, what with what's being said by the characters.
I'm not making any promises, but I don't want to abandon the characters and their story. Chances are, if I do make more comics with the Eevee Sisters, they'll be set somewhere a bit farther in the future. Remember, I started this comic way back in- *checks* yeah, way back in 2008. Two thousand freakin' eight! Needless to say, things have changed. I'm not talking about just the art as the years went on- my ideas for the story evolved, too. And continuing from the pages I had already drawn? Not an easy way to go about telling a story that has changed multiple times before it even has a chance to get off the ground. In other words, continuing from these exact pages here would really cramp the story. The story that I ended up changing. Yeah. When I started the comic, I had no future plans. And then I planned a great big multichapter epic that involved a bunch of missions and then legendaries and then SAVING THE WORLD WHOA and stuff. And then later I looked at it and... it... well, the story didn't really seem all that great.
So if I do decide to draw more comics for the Eevee Sisters, it's gonna be toned down a bit, haha. You don't need to save the world to tell a good story! Or draw a great comic. You know what I mean. If I revisit the Eevee Sisters, they'll probably be like standalone chapters, rather than a series of chapters that come one after another in sequencial order like this.
So... I guess you could think of these two chapters as a prologue of sorts. Just a little something that establishes the characters and the setting.
This isn't the last you'll see of the Eevee Sisters.

Interesting, and yeah... I remember starting to watch your comic progress, even commenting on every single page that was uploaded... And that's how we met, actually !! Wow... It really has been a lot of time.
As for the story; yes, you don't have to include Legendaries to make it interesting, or even good !! It just need a good plot to keep the reader hooked in.

Yessss, a good plot is essential to a story, haha. And this comic was, alas, lacking in a good future plot. If I decide to revisit the Eevee Sisters later on, it will definitely have a better plot to follow!

...What does that even mean? Are you going "wow" at the art? The characters? The fact the comic is going on hiatus? Is it a "wow" of amazement, or disbelief, or disappointment? Help me out here.

I totally understand, Mystic. Especially about the "a story doesn't have to save the world" part. Still though, glad we haven't seen the last of this comic.
