So what if it's June? I found these images and I was inspired to create a sad Christmas piece. Also, it doesn't hurt that I've recently had my heart completely trashed by someone I love ... I'm in a melancholy frame of mind, so why not make some melancholy art?

Ever waited for someone? Watched from a window, a doorway? Checked your phone a few times? Watched the hours tick by and realize ... they're not going to come? I think most of us have been there.

I think this is mostly me right now. It feels like winter in my heart, and I keep waiting for him to maybe come back ... but he isn't coming. (And I don't have a gorgeous red dress.)
