I didn't bother getting use to drawing on a tablet so I invested in a tablet with a screen built into it. Other than that, you'll have to keep practicing and using it.

Personally, of that scene, my favorite moment is when she is holding her hooves slightly apart to indicate her closeness to her goal. This is a good rendition nonetheless.
