These look really good! I could see them being really useful!

And...I have a question: How do you edit models/add skeletons (like arms, legs, thighs, pelvises, etc...) in Daz?

You can get daz downloads here as well as the daz software, and I get them in ShareCG. [link] I get mostly free stuff in both places. You will get an idea of what you are looking for by seeing their models, poses, props, and etc.
Poser is a program where I have more control over textures, but you can load daz models into poser as well.

OK

So, Poser would allow me to edit the models - change their shape - like adding arms or such (as a simple example)?

There are models in poser with full body forms, legs, etc, but it comes with dials that allow you to change the shapes. But so does daz program. In poser I can change the colors and textures at will if I want, with daz I haven't found a way to do that. Adding body parts will have to come from a different program, such as paintshop, photoshop, where you can delete or add by using their tools. Hope this helps, and I haven't confused you.
By the way is gmp a program and what does it do? Do you have a link?

Ohh! Ok that makes sense now! I have no problem editing in Gimp - I just wanted to know if it would be any easy otherwise...

GIMP is a free alternative to Photoshop, and in many ways is even more powerful and robust. Link? Sure! [link]
