        for just ONE bite;

Ah, it would seem after yesterday's smashing triumph, I've fallen back into old habits and don't have much time for this description.

Things I wanted this poem to apply to because they are some of the easiest things to find "tempting":
Money
Chocolate
[for a vampire] Blood
And admittedly I think the end results might suit "envy" or "greed" a little bit better, but that's still sorta fair. Envy and/or Greed would be very easily tied to temptation.

Still, those are all things that may present an opportunity you want to "sink your teeth into," even if in a metaphorical sense. And when we bargain for that, it's often for "just a taste," "just one bite," etc. When faced with temptation, we often try to talk ourselves into it; Make ourselves believe we are "owed" it somehow, that we should have the thing because we "deserve" it. Rightfully, it should be mine.

Don't get me wrong, sometimes that is true—caving into the tempting would be worthwhile. This isn't a judgment call, just an observation.

And this was one of very few opportunities where the small selection [maybe two dozen or so] of ALL CAPS magnets I have came in handy. I can't italics with the magnets, so they're a neat way to add extra emphasis.

It's not the strongest, but it does the job.

6 Days remain...It's "tempting" to stop caring so much, but I want so badly to make it to the end knowing I at least tried!
