i have a question... from the step 8 to 9, how did u make the lines go thinner OAO

oh, it s already thin from step 7 - 8 ^^
just an addition of more weight lines as border of them
It was done because it was still B&W with no shading and background, to separate the foreground and the background. The work became easier that way.
After the char coloring phase, then the border is not needed, so it s removed

it's absolutely amazing!, specially the way you, with your certainly enormous experience draw the characters and the background and make them fit perfectly in the angle!
I mean, 'im just a beginner, but it's really hard for me to draw backgrounds and fit them into my characters, or draw the characters for the backgrounds... =/
then the perspective makes it look weirdly wrong, they never fit. O.รด
So that's why i should draw more and more XD

I'm kinda confused sometimes, SAI is really comfortable for colouring, but not for adjusting. The thing is, I often adjusting while painting myself, and I'm like switching SAI-PS-SAI-PS-SAI-PSA until I got tired myself T_T
I hope I can be this great sometimes. Thanks for showing the steps XD

Well me too, I also need to adjust the painting colors in between.
Hmm, specifically, what adjustment tool you need from Photoshop?
As for me, the color adjustment tool in SAI is good enough and sufficient.
Color balancing: Filter->Hue/Saturation/Lightness, Filter->Brightness/Contrast, layer mode: multiply, overlay, etc.
I only use photoshop for some filters, texts, and textures.
And those are all finishing touch, so no need to switch back and forth

hmm I need the brush options (colour dodge etc), often playing with Colour Balance, layer masking etc. Sometimes if I'm lucky, I don't need that. But worst come to worst, I'm like asdlgknawklegnkl and depends on those filters >_< SAI's layer options are lesser than PS (sometimes I need colour dodge and such)

saya juga belajar via WI itu. Itu WI kasian, sudah hampir 2tahun konsepnya tertumpuk di gudang galeri, baru dibikin komiknya 8bulan lalu
tapi terbukti.
Bikin komik bisa membuat skill art (terutama colouring) menurun.
