Alchemist Prime. Sixth born of Primus. Ruler of Arduria the frozen waste. Owner of the Lenses. Self proclaimed master of the elements. Ironically nicknamed Macaddam. In their early years Alchemist was an observant, albeit somewhat dim witted mech but non the less a delight to be around. His artifacts The lenses, a gift from his aunt Gaea, allowed him to see physical and spiritual aspects of the universe in balance with one another, with his abilities being described as science as a magic, transmuting elements, his abilities however were weak and he never got the opportunity to properly train before Primus came. During the Primes preparation for their battle Alchemist served as a soldier since strategy wasn’t his foray, training his natural abilities wasn’t going smoothly either due to the stress of the situation. When the battle occurred he served as one of the backups, before falling victim to Primus’ influence and turning. His first colony was Arduria, a frozen wasteland ripe with Ore 6 with attempts to claim the whole planet and mine it’s ores being his sole reason for remaining and settling there, and is somewhat embarrassed as his lack of progress in Arduria’s cyber forming. The planets dangerous tundra will fall to him one way or another. Alchemist’s natural abilities have been further difficult to develop in recent years forcing him to find other ways to manifest it, choosing chemistry sets and potions while still remaining intelligent in various planetary substances. Alchemist is easily frustrated and has a firm grip, literally, he doesn’t particularly like it when anybody, particularly his advisor fluorite, bring his statements and motives into question or criticism, he’s not exactly wrong but he’s not exactly right either. His relationship with his siblings varies, he is on good terms with the monotonous Megatronus and Quintus due to the latter’s shared interest in their studies, he frequently heard arguing with alpha Trion about their political views and Nexus just gives him weird vibes. He’s the only sibling who doesn’t consume alcoholic beverages during family gatherings due to his views on it.

The reason Alchemist is still beige in Shattered Glass is that, in my headcanon after Nexus undid the multiversal aspect of the Cybertronian deities during the shrouding event, they still maintained their original colours schemes with slight adjustments. Alchemist being one of the more noticeable with his gauntlets. If I were to give Alchemist an alternative colour scheme it would be velvet red with some rustic coloured highlights.
