AWWWWW! Mimikyu is so cute!
The background works well here BTW. The greens compliment the off-yellow pretty well. Your perspective is quite a bit better in this one than in your older ones. Mimikyu's not head looks like it's drooping back nicely.
The only real issues I have is that the color goes past the lines in some areas, and the lines cross in others (lower body), which I do not believe is intentional. I would suggest using the lasso tool or a similar selection tool to outline the areas you want to paint, that way you don't paint past the lines.
The shading is nice, I think. It looks pretty correct in the places you have it.
FYI, you don't HAVE to do digital if you don't like it. Yes, you will get better at digital the more you use it, and it is important to learn the flow of it, but if it bothers you, you can just focus more of your time on traditional. Another way of going about it, is to combine what you love about traditional and try to apply it in digital. Maybe you could try experimenting with your method of hatch shading digitally.
I hope this helps! Keep going strong!
