Description I just learned that I've been calling this style by the wrong name all this time, no wonder I couldn't find anyone else who did it despite seeing it come through on occasion. Apparently this is not Forced Perspective as I though, but drawing using an anamorphic style.

That's just... nuts. How'd you learn to do this?

Thanks.  I didn't really learn it, more like I had a sudden mental break-through and knew how it could be done.  It started when I watched a high-speed Youtube video of a person creating 3D sidewalk art and noticed that he regularly looked at his work from a digital camera on a tripod.  That made me realize that creating anamorphic art was really creating art that looks correct from only 1 specific angle.  I had a theory on how that might be achieved using small objects (my first drawings were of a bag clip and a tape dispenser), and when I tried it, it worked.

It's really difficult to explain exactly how I do it, but come visit us in Seattle (don't you have a brother here too?) and I can show you.

Ah. Appatosaurus majorus. Large jurassic plant eater, pruner and pusher of trees. Prehistoric bulldozer. Very mild mannered parent. Excellent drawing.
