I've been feeling bad for my daughter as she rides in the car this winter. Babies in car seats aren't supposed to wear thick coats due to safety reasons, so she's been wearing a light fleece jacket all winter. After seeing a picture on the internet of somebody selling ponchos designed specifically for riding in the car, I decided it would be faster to make one myself than try to find one locally, or even buy one online and have it shipped.
