Commission for ClearGreenWater. Her character, Mtawa, lives in the Lion King 'verse so I thought it fitting to set the picture in the infamous Elephant Graveyard.Hyenas are super fun to draw.

That is really cool,i am a big fan of the Lion king and can't stop myself from drawing the characters from it either,i wish i had PS7 or any of the other programmes you can use,i would love to colour my artwork but i don't have the programmes D:
I love the fact that you decided to locate the Hyanea(did i spell that right?)in the elephant graveyard ^_^
The best scene i think from the Lion King is when Simba sees Mufasa in heaven it brings a tear to my eye sometimes

I think I read somewhere that hyenas aren't actually canines... which I thought was really weird. I could be mistaken though... But if they aren't, that would explain why they look so strange.

I heard that too... I think because they can't retract their claws and some of their posed are very dog-like.
