Oh! This is absolutely stunning, and exactly what I've been searching for to translate to a tattoo I've been trying to come up with. Would you mind if I used this image to show my designer, to help come up with an image? I'd change it some, of course, but using this would be helpful.

very iconic.. and very very nice Did you use watercolor with this??? cause it looks like a mix of watercolor and either pencil or marker. Awesome awesome job!!!!

I used 2 colors of liquid ink painted with a paintbrush and diluted with water, very thin paintbrush which is why some of the lines are so thin and look like pencil or marker, and thank you!

Thanks! I only used 2 colors of ink! I like to work with limited palletes, I'm a bit scared to do FULL color lately

asdfghj--I SAW THIS AT THE SPOILERS GALLERY THAT POLLY WAS HOSTING TONIGHT AND I was like "Holy crap, I know this piece! I just added it to my favorites the other day!"
And I thought for a minute you were an SVA student. I was disappointed when you weren't, but I was still shocked to see your artwork there.

This was even cooler to see up close! I love how you made it 3-dimensional.

I HEARD ABOUT YOU!! Polly Guo told me I had a fan and I was sooo happy! Hahah I wish i was an SVA student!! I'm so glad you liked the pic! It would have been even MORE 3d but I was worried about it getting crushed in the mail as it was. :<
