You are most definitely on the right track. Your work looks great, and I look forward to seeing your future pieces. By the way, what types of markers/pens do you use? I'm looking to try my hand at color, and I'd appreciate any tips or advice. Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply my friend. I use prismacolor makers. They take some practice though, the ink has a tendancy to spread. For some of my more detailed linework I use sharpies, or any other fine tip marker I can fine. It is really hard to find certain colors in markers, can be very limitin' I think with your work color pencils and maybe a clear blender would work fantastic. Color can be tough at first, some times a heavy paper can be your friend when it comes to markers, helps soak up the ink so it doesn't spread as much. Best to make nice copys of your work, and try colorin' them in to get the hang of it. That way if you mess up tou don't kill all your work. Hope that helps my friend!

Thanks for the help, my brother. I just got some prismacolor markers and micron pens and have been working with them a bit. You are definitely right, they take MAJOR practice. They are much different than working with pencil. Making copies of my work will save me some major pain, misery, and frustration. I really appreciate your help. You rock! Yeah, the microns are awesome and well worth the money. I guess it's true that you get what you pay for. I know what you mean about winter draining your batteries, but I'll be keeping my eye out for your latest posts.
