And here's the second tutorial answering the second half of ~Lilac-the-fox99 's question, who had asked how I draw noses and lips. Surprisingly, these little things are easier to put out than I'd thought! It only took me about four, five hours for this one.

I just wanted to thank you so much for posting this- I literally have pages in my sketch books filled with lips that I drew while trying to get this down. I'm completely self taught, and I was pretty much able to get noses down by myself (after plenty of trial and error!), but lips were completely eluding me. And then I stumbled across this, and drew lips manically for the next couple of weeks. Now, whenever I'm sketching a face, I think- WWMD? and boom, lips=done. So thanks again, and congrats on the DD!

I've always had a hard time getting lips to look "right" when I draw them - this tutorial was very helpful! I can now draw lips that actually look like lips and not just weird lines in the face. Thank you for making this!

I was wondering, I read your tutorial and got to the painting part. I'm stuck. You say the bottom lip is always more pink, but the character I'm painting is grey skinned. What's your advice?

Well, pinker. For pale skin, it's pink, but for darker skin tones, it's usually a sort of reddish-tan. For grey skin, I'd maybe go with a paler grey with a hint of pink to it, so on the Photoshop color picker, take your grey and move it up and a little to the right, but not too far right, otherwise, they'll look like they've got lipstick on them. If you're going for really dead looking skin, go with a paler grey but with either no pink or maybe a tint of purple or blue instead.
