I’ve been working on this series for a while. I modified the concept to explore other moons and planets besides our own.

This one is unglazed. The only underglaze was Pearl Grey (in a large brush) and diluted black in a small brush. To get the appearance of mares, I got the clay wet with droplets of water when it wasn’t quite bone dry, and touched some of the black underglaze to the water.
