Description

AUTHOR'S NOTE: I've actually been so angry with people who constantly complained about Emi being too "Mary Sue" or "unrealistic" because she was Recovery Girl's granddaughter. But now that I've completely reworked her to avoid these comments, I'm actually so happy with how she turned out. It took a while for me to finish this, but here's the new Emi with a new bio, personality and even a name to hopefully please the keyboard warriors.

Quirk Desciption: Chiemi's bubble shields are all made with her own body water - while most humans normally have 50-60% of water, Chiemi's body contains 80%. Her body as well holds a small amount of carbon dioxide which is the main factor for her to create bubbles with either her own breath, sweat or skin. When she keeps on making bubbles without keeping track of her body water, more things happen than just being thirsty. The more liquid in the body that is lost, the thicker the blood becomes and the harder the heart muscle must work to pump the blood through the circulatory system. If Chiemi loses the abilities to reason and think straight because of dehydration it means she will die very soon, unless she drinks water to rehydrate.
Abilities:
• Self Defense - Her main ability! Whenever Emi gets startled, she'll pop out a bubble around herself, and then freak out about being inside it. It's very robust against projectiles, but will dissolve in the matter of minutes. She isn't capable to perfectly control it yet, but she could solidify the bubble to make it heavier, which is great to make the bubble last longer for strong physical attacks while the lighter form will make it easy for her to move or even slightly float.
• Bubble Jail - It's similar to Chiemi's self defense bubble, but it's either used to protect or catch someone.
• Bubble Trail - Chiemi creates small to medium sized bubbles with the hand motion one would use to form a snowball that solidify over time, gaining the texture similar to super glue. She uses it mostly as unpredictable obstacles, especially as they're easy and quick to make. Since they're transparent too, it's difficult to see them at first glance.

Personality:
Suprisingly enough, Chiemi isn't exactly the typical shy girl who'd get easily embarrassed about everything. In fact, she's a huge downer who constantly feels insignificant and doesn't even hesitate on letting others know how inconsequential she feels. Whenever someone would even try to compliment her, she immediately panics and throws the claim back at the person while she tries not to cry from feeling a little too happy about their remark. It's also a little too easy to startle her. Despite her overly pessimistic attitude, Chiemi's incredibly caring towards people and tries to see the good in them even if she'd end up getting exploited by them which is actually true for her case.

History:
Chiemi had a fairly normal upbringing, but she always had the issue of trusting people despite not fully knowing them. After her mother passed away upon her brother's birth, she had continuously tried to seek comfort by spending even moe time with strangers, without realizing how they actually used her vulnerability. As soon as her father noticed how Chiemi's so called "friends" treated her, he told her to stick with her younger brother instead which she complied to. Since then she continued to spend time with her sibling every day, spoiling him because he was "so cute". He slowly ended up taking advantage of her as well - at first he'd ask if she would do his homework, which she obviously did with no hesitation. Once she was too busy with her own studies, he'd start pinching her cheeks or even started pulling on her hair when she didn't do things he wanted her to do. Nevertheless she never bothered or even tried fighting against it.
The more time has passed, it became more of a habit for her to do errands for both her bullies, classmates and her brother.

Relationships:
• Matsuda Wakamatsu (Myuwa ) - Even though he bullies Chiema a lot at home, she still loves him with all her heart. Of course he does as well, but seeing how she obediently seems to do his work he made it a habit to ask or force her to do his chores and homework.

• Ketsuro Suibun (bittybitt39 ) - Her older cousin, motherly side. Chiemi used to call him Ken or Suzu, and still does, as she hasn't been able to properly pronounce his name. She looks up to him, especially as he is currently working as a Pro Hero.

• Nokori Fushojiki (RisingMuffin ) - An upperclassman who seemed to have been forced to do chores for her classmates as well and ended up bumping against Chiemi. Despite their first interactions starting off as very awkward they did end up getting along quite well.

• Jirou Kita (RisingMuffin ) - He caught some classmates bullying her and shooed them away, hence why he then continued to follow her, claiming she looked cute. It took her a while but Chiemi somewhat got used to him and eventually stopped trying to convince him of how terrible she is.

• Hokori Yosei (bittybitt39 ) - They met at the Sports Festival when Chiemi had to go buy her classmates nutriments. She offered to help Chiemi, and the moment Hokori spotted her classmates wanting to give Emi a dirty look for taking so long, Kori tried to defend her. From that point on Hokori tried to befriend her, even if it did take a while for Chiemi to finally give in from continuously telling her all the negative things about her.

• Tomoko Genzou (Myuwa ) - They met when Hokori persuaded Chiemi to tag along with her to her classroom. Tomoko seemed incredibly hostile at first as she was afraid Hokori would stop hanging around her, but she did warm up to Chiemi faster than expected. Tomoko would usually always try to teach Emi how to defend herself from her bullies, which doesn't always work out that well for her.

• Mei Hatsume - Her fellow classmate who usually asks her to try out her "babies". Chiemi used to be a little terrified of her hyperactive behavior, but she seemed to get along with her nonetheless. Especially since Emi ended up feeling great about knowing that she'd be able to help Mei out.
