Here is my re-design for Da-Runways contest of one of my previously submitted entries: [link]We were allowed one new color but not to use it excessively. I chose black.
I took the original "moda" meaning "clothes" i think in french and kinda gave it a twist by having a girl on the front to represent a model. IDK where the "xoxo" came from. It’s just cute.
I changed the shorts into skinny jeans, the top into a 1/2 sleeve and reduced the details of the jacket.
Wish i had more time to fix it up but i have a baby to tend to.

A very neat design, i love the bottoms they're very unique
oO also modo isn't french for clothes, the french word for clothes is vêtements. Moda is actually Italian for fashion or trend.

For the bottoms I used a "denim" brush that was made for SAI by a DA member.

kisura mzclark, what if the jacket had some sort of extended color and was the hair of the girl's on the shirt and the shirt just had her head bald?

This image is an idea of what i meant sorry it is by pencil and very quick, the color of the jacket should be the outline color instead of blue, but you see the lady in the shirt is bald, even without the frills with an interesting cut of the jacket, it could be the hair, just an idea

this is for a contest so i had to make sure i followed all the rules. I had to use all the colors that are in the palette. They're originally from a flower called "Fuschia"

you see the head on the shirt. what if the jacket was the color of the hair with an enlarged collar and the head was bald.
The idea is to make the jacket the hair of the head on the shirt

Thanks. I'm trying to do more graphic design stuff. it's hard for me. Wish i had more time to make it look really nice and use the curve tool but my daughter doesn't permit me to. ^^

yay! girly!! I havent had that compliment yet. I would never wear this personally but I enjoy designing this. Imma post up alternate designs for this concept possibly today.
