Description I made Hatikvah on Mario Paint Composer. I picked Hatikvah because it's really simple and I think it's beautiful.

Sheet music from here helped me: [link]

Sorry the video's so tiny and has a big black border and whatnot. What really matters is the audio anyways.

Never heard of what? Mario Paint Composer, or Hatikvah?

Mario Paint Composer is this program where you can.. compose stuff. It was originally a part of this SNES game called Mario Paint where you could make art and whatnot.

Hatikvah is the Israeli national anthem.

Thanks!

If you don't mind me asking- what made you choose Hatikvah?

Oh yes, I know. See this piece of mine I did last year in art class: [link]

I can read Hebrew; I taught myself. I know a lot of simple words and can understand quite a bit of what's being said in the music I listen to (I listen to mizrachi as you can see on my page). I know a lot of Hebrew for being almost entirely self-taught.

Wow! I'm really impressed! I speak it fluently- I've been learning it all my life (and I still am XD)
Sorry if I'm getting nosy- I'm just genuinely interested- but why did you decide to learn Hebrew? It's not a common language XD

Well... I think I first heard it when I was looking at Israel on Wikipedia (because my ex-boyfriend used to live in Israel and I love to read Wikipedia) and got to the music section. The first song I heard was Haperach Begani by Zohar Argov. I freakin' loved that song. That was when I decided that Hebrew was a great language and I've loved mizrahi music since then. I've just wanted to learn Hebrew ever since then. It's probably been nearly three years since I got into it. I'd really like to get into a program where I could go live in Israel for a few months with a host family to teach them English and learn Hebrew.
