Description
So i have always had this thought about doing a realistic pencil drawing but i have been putting it off because it takes a lot of time and isn't all that interesting to do. With something like this i don't really consider it art, it is just a carbon copy of a photo, no creativity or unique ideas, its just a way to show off skill not ideas.

having said that, i am still pleased with it, and i actually learnt a lot about pencils and what they can do, originally i was trying to do the whole picture with a 2B pencil, but it was impossible to get even light tones. i have never used H pencils before because they are just scratchy and not very dark, but i found they are perfect for even light tones. so yeah ended up using the full spectrum of pencils from H4 to 6B,

i also learned a lot about shading and reflections, how high contrast works etc, it is weird to be able to make something so bright even when it isn't just by having darker shades around it.
