Description
The first home console game that I played was Castlevania: The New Generation (a.k.a. Bloodlines or Vampire Killer, if you were lucky enough to live outside of the EU, when the game was released on the Mega Drive/Genesis), so I have a lot of love for the game

This is my first ever level/tile design, which was created in Pixelmash. It's inspired by the first level of Castlevania: Bloodlines/The New Generations/Vampire Killer - Dracula's Castle, Transylvania.

Pixelmash has some neat effects. I used the glow effect on the moon, and the candles. I also added a gradient effect to the carpet. I should've done the same to the wooden floor... Buuuuuut I didn't.

The actual tile is 64x64. It was created within a few hours. I suppose I was just testing myself to see if I had the patience to do something like this.

I love Pixelmash, except I missed out on the program when it was on sale earlier in the week on Steam So this was made in the trial period.
