Wow... it's been over 5 years since my last Steven Universe illustration. Again, it's the Crystal Gems' roster, but it has been now expanded to include the gems added in the "Future" show (just so we're clear, I considered them members once they add a star motif to their appearance).

On the technical side, there's not much to say. It was fully done in Clip Studio Paint and it was a pain in the ass having so many characters on the canvas at the same time. If they had interacted with each other it would've been a nightmare. I believe it has been the first time I've painted caustics (the squiggly highlights on Lapis' wings) and, while they didn't turn out that great, it's a start. Surprisingly, (or maybe unsurprisingly) the background was the part that took the least time. Probably under 10 minutes. In contrast, the rest of the painting probably took between 10 and 20 hours 😱
