Description
This was the third piece from my inaugural art-stream.Squeek is perhaps one of the most popular characters of and for damn good reason. Her bubbly personality is down-right infectious at times, and it makes her a blast to draw. While I may be an official writer for the Squeek and Shred comic (thus giving me a distinct insight to the minutia of the character's personalities) I sometimes don't know if my art style really jives with the cast and does Shonuff's characters justice. Not withstanding my own niggling doubts, Shonuff told me how much adored my work during the stream, so in the end I guess it feels worth it.
One lucky member in the chat got to walk away with this piece completely for free when the show ended, and I can only hope that he approves of the win.
Materials used were Faber pens for the inks, and copic markers for the colors, all done on my custom 8 x 5 in. card-stock boards.

I know that the person who won the piece was fairly ecstatic about getting some free art. In the end, I figured I'd celebrate my first successful live-stream by giving away one of the pieces I worked on during it.
I may do it again, but probably only for the milestone streams.

Reading that truly does mean a lot to me.
As a long-time aspiring artist (and being surrounded by so many skilled and talented friends) I've oftentimes found myself wondering if anyone truly wanted MY art as opposed to everyone else I'm established with. I know I'm far from the notoriety of my peers, but with these streams, I'm hoping I can institute a positive change, and become/do what I fee like I was always meant to.
