A sketch of a new Dragon Age character. He was my other option to join , but Nadette and her son needed the help more than he does, so...
Still, he grew on me and here he is : D

His name is Tycho Dunar, though he's better known as The Great Spurius, The Wonderful Taribani or The Extraordinary Mirone. He's a wandering bard, a true liar and generally a charmer. Really small and skinny, even for the average elf. Good humored and optimistic.

Ty was born in Redcliffe's alienage. His father worked as a bard at Lloyd's tavern, his mother worked at the Arl's kitchens, and he and his eldest sister received a very basic education. It was a pretty good life for an alienage elf. At an early age, Ty started to earn his own money working at Lloyd's, helping as he could in the kitchen and serving the tables. His father was very welcome by the customers so he was never mistreated, and step by step he started helping him in his performances. He soon shown how a great mind he had to memorize each one of the songs that his father and the customers sang, so at 12 he started to take his father's place from time to time. At the same time, his sister Nirei got a job like their mom's.

Twelve years later, about a couple of years before the Blight, during the festivities organized to celebrate Connor's birthday, some of the Arl's guardsmen, drunk, decided that Nirei was too beautiful to let her wasted and unused. She was raped, and her fiance was killed in the process. When Tycho arrived, he could do nothing but take his broken sister home. Scared, humiliated and full of pain, Nirei started to feel dread about the humans. She refused to leave the house, and little by little, stopped even talking to her parents and brother.

Tycho couldn't live like that anymore. One day, he told their parents he was going to take Nirei to a Dalish clan, so she would be far from the humans and could start a new life among their people, hopefully a peaceful life. Nirei agreed, and so they left Redcliffe and travelled looking for a Dalish clan. When they finally found it, they were surprised of the warm welcome they received. They treated Nirei unbelievably good, and after some weeks she started smiling again. While Ty was happy for her though, he felt he didn't belong to that place. So when he was sure that his sister was in good hands and recovering, he decided to leave. But he didn't left alone: during his stay, he started a friendship with Sigma [link] and his half-elf brother, Reegen. Sigma was a pure Dalish, while Reegen had a human father and therefore, human looks. The clan had always been kind to him, but he felt out of place, so he decided to go with Tycho.

Since then, they've been travelling together from town to town, from inn to inn, singing, dancing, seducing men and women, and even sometimes stealing. But just a bit ;D

When the Blight came, both Ty and Reegen went to Redcliffe and took Ty's parents to the Dalish, just before the horrible events that happened because of the desire demon.
