i love this photo, i saw it on a friends fav list.
maybe the reason i like it is:
1. the colors are amazing, as all hospitals do.
2. the pattern is great too
3. nice lighting
and...
4. i had an idea to do a photo project of hospitals.
do u have any tips when it comes to the hospital and photo taking?

great picture. i just got out of the hospital today after getting a broken nose and 2 black eyes, with cuts on the face. good scary picture, really gives me the chills. seems very real.
on a design tip, i love how the top gets darker and pushes me to look into the picture more. i love teal/blue colors in the tiles.
i smoke crack.

When I first looked at this, I thought that the two doors stood for diffrent paths that you could take after surgury; life or death. That the numbers represented either fate. Wish I could describe it more, but I can't. What is the story behind this photo?

Ooooh, interesting. I rather like this. I dont remember much after getting my appendix out, other then waking up with tubes in my nose. I really hated that. Nice photo though, the colors are neat, and I just like the crispness of it.

I like the photo a lot. The colors and lighting are nice, as is perspective. The only thing I don't like about the photo is that one door is slightly cut off, and the other shows more wall. While it mostly does look symmetrical, that throws it off and (for me at least) creates the feeling of uneveness. It's a good photo regardless, just wanted to point that out.

I like it. I see people talking about the graininess and the glare, and no offense to them, I respect their opinions, but I think it is excellent. It is realistic, not perfect, and that is life.

Grain doesn't have to mean poor quality. It can be very effective in a photograph (espcially monochrome photography)...

thanks for comments...this is actually a snapshot because I was actually in a surgery.. this is the kind of documentary I like to do...
it's shot E100VS slide film and cross processed..it ads a bit grain to it...but grain is our friend(not pixels)
