Manga is not a style, it is simply the Japanese word for comic. Donald Duck would be manga in Japan as well.

There's something about this girl I like! The slight drop in her eyebrows... the blandness of her uniform... the--mmmmm--sexy pantyhosed legs that look almost like a second skin to her.
That, and the background looks whimsical/fantasy-like/not so embedded in the real world.
