I can actually imagine Nick and Gideon becoming friends over the trips Judy and Nick take to Bunnyburrow when they got a long weekend. Nick would take a little issue with Gideon at first hearing how much of a jerk he used to be, and indeed feel a little wary seeing how open and cheerful Judy is about having her own friendship with Gideon now that he's not a jerk. But they'd get over it and become good friends, especially after Gideon gives this assurance to Nick, giving his blessing even, despite Gideon finding the idea of a predator and prey being in a serious relationship very weird and unusual.

If anything, you should run around, flail your arms like one of those inflatable tube men, then proceed to shout and wail like a banshee.
