Description well... I hate Leonardo di Caprio, do you know? I hate him since I was a little girl, and in that period he was so famous for Titanic, etcetc. Well, I hope that his fan don't blame me for this, but I can't help it, it's in my skin, ok!?XDD But, anyway, I'm so unluky... my teacher at the Comix gave me a pic of Di Caprio to drawing for our exercise with photorealism and pencils... I WANTED TO DIE!!! Sob!
my teacher is lovely and a good artist, and we share the same musical tastes, well, but he's a little sadic too, I have to admit! Sob! Poor me!
This portrait of Di Caprio tooks me ages to finish and in the end I know that one of his eyes looks a little odd, strange, wrong... I can't fix it, forgive me, please!Y_Y
Anyway, this is just an exercise! I hope to do better subjects with photorealism, I really like this tecnique, and I adore all my pencils!!

il mio caro prof alla Comix è stato così carino da darmi una foto di Di Caprio, che io ODIO cordialmente, per l'esercizio di chiaroscuro e fotorealismo. Ho desiderato morire durante il lavoro (20 ore? bha, non so... ho perso il conto ad una certa...)... e continua ad avere un occhio storto, miseriaccia, povera me!T_T

Excellent work. On a side note, you should give ol' leo another chance, "Titanic" really is not representative of him. I find him to be a quite talented actor, and you've just done him lots of justice with that portrait

Well, I have to say I have this kind of love/hate relationship with mr Di Caprio. I mean, I know he has grown up so much from Titanic and became such a good actor, just I'm not really hooked by his performances. At least at the moment, but I'm open to consideration!

io di caprio l'ho amato alla follia a 12anni in quei 5 o 6 mesi di titanic-tormentone...
poi ho iniziato ad odiarlo senza motivo, ma adesso con i suoi ultimi film in cui finalmente non fa più il quindicenne superfigo (ma continua ad avere la voce di Dawson) ti dirò..ha ripreso punti
in fondo come attore non è male...
ah poi ovvio
il tuo disegno è impressionante

I felt exactly as you do! I never liked Leo during the Titanic... I thought it was sooo over-hyped and that he wasn't cute AT ALL....

But then I saw "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" and "The Aviator" and "The Departed" and I realised that I wasn't giving him nearly enough credit! xD He is an extremely talented actor!

Buuut to each his own! I love your drawing! The hair is amazing

ed adoperare lo sfumino è mooolto più semplice che non fare il tratteggio...o mi sbaglio?
Argh...i colori ad olio non li sopportavo(forse perchè non ho mai imparato ad adoperarli...)

gh, io non sono al liceo artistico!
faccio l'accademia e sto seguendo questo corso di illustrazione ad una scuola privata di fumetto, ma più o meno...!^^ Comunque... io amo il tratteggio!*_* invece questo lavoro, e quel che sto facendo ora, son fatti con la sola sfumatura, ma senza adoperare lo sfumino, tutto manuale, per intenderci!XD
è un pò massacrante, ma da soddisfazioni!
gli olii io li trovo più semplici dell'acrilico, argh!>___<
