Description
This year is the 30th anniversary of first Alien film. The movie with some of the most creepy moments of cinema history. The movie that reunited the genius of Moebius, H.R. Giger and Ridley Scott to create an atmosphere proper of Metal Hurlant comics. This is my personal homage.Related content

The most intense part of this film, for me, was when the ship was counting down to self destruction. The voice was so soothing and calm, while Ripley was just losing it!. Like, How =can you be so calm at a time like this???????

Many thanks. Giger´s alien is the monster has scared me more since my childhood. I hope thet rumored new Alien movie directed by Ridley Scott bring back the pure sci-fi horror from first film.
I remember I was too little (just 7 years old)to see Alien on theaters in 1979, so I discovered first the comic adaptation By Goodwin and Simonson... And it was the scariest comic I saw at that point! XDD
A curious point was the spanish edition of that comic had a different and much worse coloring. When I discovered recently the quality of original american edition I was astonished, so I ´ve purchased a copy from a NY comic book shop.

Love the style. Gotta say, Ripley was one of my heroes growing up--kicked every Disney Princess's ass, that's for sure.
... Wait, that means I was watching rated R films in sixth grade...
Anyway, back to this. I like how you preserved the drama, even though it's a really cartoony style. The lighting is most awesome, good sir!

Estoy practicando la forma de crear ambiente con las gamas de color de cara al siguiente comic que ya he empezado. pasa que primero me hago todo el dibujo, y luego paso a la fase de color para no romper el ritmo.

Alien es la mejor pelicula de horror que pueda existir, esta entre las mejores y yo diria que le hace la par a Aliens. espero que en el futuro puesas hacer un pequeño homenaje a Carpenter's The Thing o a The Terminator

The Thing me tira mucho más,(Además de Terminator se ha hecho ya de todo)Tanto el original de los 50 como la versión de carpenter son geniales. Hacer un dibujo de este tema es todo un reto. No me extraña que se hayan hecho muchos menos. Pero algo se me ocurrirá.

Anda que no mola esa película, con el sintético espía, la sorpresa del bicho saliendo del pecho, el jodío gato, huir en la capsula a la infinidad del espacio sin saber a ciencia cierta si llegará a algún planeta alguna vez...

Despite of a bit cheesy effects, "Alien" is one of the most thrilling films I've ever seen. True hard SF horror, I love it.
