Description Soo... my tablet miraculously works... =___= wtf.
idk what's wrong with this piece of crap... I'm still getting a new one tho... D< *wanted a new one anyways*

but anyways, before my tablet starts malfunctioning again, I thought I'd do a short animation =u= They're so fun to do <3333 ;u;;; I wanted to practice turns and zooms. It turn out ok I think. Hair and clothes are definately hard to animate correctly tho. :'D I hope you like~

Tools: Sai, Adobe ImageReady
Frame count: 27

*edit* Thanks for all the faves everyone ;u; and it's even been requested as a print, but i don't think animations can be print? xD
It's also been asked to do in color buuuut... I'm actually really lazy when it comes to coloring animations =u= The drawing part is fun, the coloring.... not so fun OTL so I don't think it's gonna be in color for some time ;u;;; and as for all the crits, THEY WERE ALL REALLY HELPFUL <3333 ALSKFALKSJFAS *takes all into consideration*

i think this is absolutely amazing and so close to perfect but there is of course one thing that i think you need to work on and that is the hair the back flicks perfectly but the fringe needs to flick out as she spins just that little bit more also if you could make the shirt flick out a bit more that would be nice but all in all you did a brilliant job i of which could not have done this good i love this
congratulations on making such a fine piece of art work and good luck with any other art that you do

I would like to congratulate you on making this work of art as curiously mind-blowing as it is.Your method of putting your thoughts into your art is wonderfully amazing. It is clear to me that you gave it an honest go with your gratuitous range of powers. The line of this work is decisively suitable for the symbolism that I feel you are trying to create, but however, in saying that this statement is likely inane. On the other hand, I think that your implementation of dimension could have used some improvements as I feel that it wasn't able to break even with the brilliance obvious in the whole of the art work. To finish I would like to reassure you that it has been a thrill to invest energy in this assessment for you and I hope it will enable you to revamp your artwork.

For not being very experienced with animation, yes, this is very good, but it is also very lacking. This is certainly far from perfect, but still good. The animation is quite choppy, and the last seconds of where it zooms in is very choppy. I would suggest drawing in-betweens to make it smoother.

Also, I'm unsure as to what the last part is. Is she leaning in? Is it zooming in? Is she walking towards the camera? As I said before, that last part is very choppy and unclear.

Lastly, I think if you keep practicing you could definitely make some very detailed and fluent animations. Practice practice practice!

For someone who is not an experienced animator I must say you are extremely good. The fact that it does look like the character is spinning is a task not many people can complete. The hair and clothing movement is excellent and the fact that when she first comes in spinning there is a lot of well done perspective is another element that many people like to ignore when animating. Since I know several animation students I can say that you are actually quite good since I'm going to venture to say that you have never taken an animation class.

The main problem I have with it though is that the frame transitions could be smoother. Also the zoom back in seems very choppy, especially the jump between the two frames where she finishes her spin and then begins to zoom in. I'm going to guess that you were trying to make it look like she was leaning forward while the zoom was coming in but it make it seem as if you didnt do the zoom properly.

I think those can easily be fixed by adding some very short frames inbetween. Overall I do like the piece and I hope to see more animations from you in the future.

Well I am see soo smooth clean and living fanmade animation first time in my life, seriously. And tools you used is only simple IR and SAI!? Amazing!
You did great job with hair and clothes animation, you did it trough short time amount which makes this animation even more amazing. It is simple but pretty detailed - you see the girl only few seconds but you can say she wears t-shirt and school skirt. Anatomy is accurate and perfectly drawn, moves is smooth and natural. Also, she has pretty anime face, I could say it deserve to be a part of some kind of anime opening! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h… " width="15" height="13" alt="" title="Heart" />
