Nacho!

Hey, I checked out both websites - the series you linked me to is the exact one I was considering purchasing, but starting with Volume 1.Β

The other website with all the techniques - wanted to say thanks again for that because I found out that, not only do I have a decent working knowledge of of photoshop (using layers, adjustment layers, changing brush settings, and using keyboard shortcuts), but I also picked up a few interesting tidbits that, while pursuing my second field of study, I completely forgot about when it comes to doing digital art.

It also reaffirmed that I just need to practice more and do more thumbnails and use more references when I do my work.Β  Once you've got your foundation in art, Photoshop is just another vehicle, with some of it's own tools and tips, with which to do your work.

It's good to know even the pro's now and then take their work and just do some different things with it to see what happens.

Thanks a bunch dude, appreciate it!

yo got it right!. That's the way to go.. Don't get discouraged... ( When thathappens check your works from the past month and you'll fell that you are improving your skills! )Β

Keep rocking!

I'm revamping one or two pieces as we speak - using just a few layers, and trying to look at the pro level stuff, and comparing it to what I do.

I'm not a beginner when it comes to art (I only really post sketches here; I've got one or two finished works that show the caliber of traditional work I can do), it's just a matter of getting more comfortable with photoshop, and figuring out what the techniques are to get the same results as I would with traditional work.Β  Also, I need to get my digital pieces more detailed, that's bothering me hardcore.

Amazing. I had to draw the concept for a museum interior for a project you're working on and this was my main inspiration. If you are curious it's here: joanpiquellorens.deviantart.co… Thanks a lot for the inspiration
