Ah! So it's this one! I see you definitely went with the purple background suggestion, then, haha. Even so, I'm impressed by how much detail you put into the background. You could have done a simple gradient filter, or even(gasp!) a solid purple background color. Instead, it looks like you've got some interesting texture work going on here.
Question: Did you draw the head first? His head is drawn from a full frontal position, perfectly straight, yet the body below it seems to be at a slightly 3/4 position relative to the viewer. His hands and arm positions, too, are kind of in odd positions.
Note, I don't want to assume that you drew the head first. There's nothing wrong with his body, anatomically speaking. I do know that it's common practice for artists to draw what they like first, and super common for drawings to be "head first, now what do I do about the boy, acht!" lol.
I like the amount of detail you put into his shirt, by the way. It would have been tempting to just put in a plaid pattern filter within the boundary of the line art. It looks like, however, you actually drew the pattern out, and followed all the folds and wrinkles of the shirt meticulously. That takes a lot of dedication!

Oh, yeah, this is like the first time I take "time" to do the background.
I did the linework of the head first, but in the sketch i started with the curvature of the body and the position of the shoulders.
I just tried to incorporate more dinamic to the character. I always draw everything from the front and it was starting to get boring, but now I know it was a total failure :T (It was supposed to be like a "turning back" position). What I really improvised was the hands (I think the position of the body should be clearer if I drew his legs but... I'm lazy).
And yes, the patern of the shirt was a really hard work to do!
