They are the victims of backstabbers
Filthy little hope grabbers
Yet somehow justice does not exist
Not for the young hobbyist

We are the nerds, geeks, dweebs and freaks
Called names such as moron
Forced to the cold floor where it reeks
From the shoes they have on

Even at lunch it just never ends
Trying hard to keep our friends
In a small attempt to reconnect
In rage they choose to react

“Get this out of my face you freak
I’m trying to eat here!”
And the tears start flowing… I’m weak
Weakness born of fear

Just shut up
Go away
I have the heart of glass

A heart that shatters and rips the flesh
Leaving bleeding wounds, now fresh
And these stinging, horrid wounds, they seethe
Making it so hard to breath

Then the shards shatter through the soul
Leaving permanent marks
The pain of living takes its toll
Due to blood-thirsty sharks

But the only reason they torment
Is from sins that they resent
Unable to handle inner bouts
They bite the pure at their throats

The wicked cover truth in lies
Hoping no one will see
But their guilty conscience does cry
And they’ll never be free

Then, in cold blood, the truth is hidden
The last attack unbidden
But silenced the ones who knew the lies
Innocents with knowing eyes
