Requested by: - His OC, Jake (left), and my OC, Kenja (right), doing something as a follow-up to his previous request.Next request I'll be working on: *TheSuperInsaneninja
So after finding themselves in this bizarre, alternate reality, Kae convinced Kenja to get to know Jake because Kenja doesn't have enough guy friends. They decided to grab a bite to eat, but during their lunch, Kae and Emily walk past the window. Kenja blushes a little as Kae waves at him and Jake smirks at him commenting, "You liiiiiiike her."
Kenja gets defensive stating, "She's just a friend!"
I tried cell shading again. I dunno how it turned out, but this was fun to draw.
And yes, I did change Kenja's hair color. I'm trying to make it look more realistic while still keeping the red-pinkish hue.

I'll admit, it may take until next week to finish. The 10th is my last day classes, but I have a couple of big projects that I really ought to focus on. Hope you can understand. But I'll work on what I can, when I can until then.

My teacher hands out the finals the last day of class. We can take them home, as long as we turn them in the day the final is actually scheduled, but I can generally finish 'em within the class time. XD
And I hope to finish all requests before my birthday near the end of the month! ^0^

You did say it was a follow-up to Kae and Emily, so I felt obligated to somehow tie this image in with the previous.
And I'm glad to know I'm getting good enough to get paid eventually maybe sometime. X3 But I shall be using this picture in my portfolio class. I made that wall pattern (from a photo I took) and kinda wanna show it off.

Getting better just comes with practice. My subconscious thinks of ways to improve between projects, so by the time I DO work on the next thing, my last project looks awful in comparison. XD
The poses I just focus on the bone structure beneath and have people model. I recently drew something where I needed my sister to pose so I could figure out how far up the center of the ribcage was. It was so slight that change, but it made a HUGE difference. :0

I wish I could get people to pose for me, but I don't feel comfortable asking them to sit for a couple of hours since I don't have a camera .___. Believe me, the set of the chest, length of arms, roundness of shoulders, anything so slight like that, makes a ridiculously huge difference.
