Why does the 'Indian' (who's never said to be Native American) look so White?
Looks a little bit racist as hell.
Same for the Egyptian.
And why is the 'Barbarian Warlord' blonde and tanned?
That armour the Knight is wearing isn't Arthurian in style either.
And why is the Highlander (who is Scottish) darker than the Roman (who would ostensibly be Mediterranean in origin) ?
Also, the Hippie should look like Arjen: brown hair, not blonde.
Looks like you did absolutely zero research AND have difficulties drawing female characters in actual appropriate clothing.
Plan on doing a redraw someday where you fix all your mistakes?

Bit of a late reply on my part, but thank you for receiving the criticism positively.
I know I was a bit harsh; it stems from a place of loving the source material and being baffled by some of the decisions made for the piece.
Would be really cool to see a revised version with greater attentiveness to the characters and their origins.

I was always struggling to understand how the Forevers look like. The description of the characters in "Into the Electric Castle" is detailed enough to actually draw them in a way that people will recognize them. Correct me if I'm wrong but there is no actual description of how the Forevers look like. True, they are human kind's roots, but they also came from the sea so it's kinda hard to imagine... maybe they have fins, maybe they don't. I suppose I could draw my own interpretation though. I will be more excited to draw the life on Planet Y and maybe a meeting discussion regarding the fate of the human race

I do agree, however, that to draw a Forever would only ever be an interpretation, so its going to be more difficult. Then again, I've seen some horrible interpretations of Forevers mind you.. Perhaps they're best left alone.
