Such a cute little character you have here, is she one of your own?
I really like the way you have coloured the eyes they are so bright and colourful!
I also like the way you have coloured the hair, by giving it more strands you have given it a real texture to it

Yes, I think too that people do redraw, for see how much they have improved. I don't know what other people think, but when I see my progress (just a little, I'm still not so good XD) I feel like "yaaaay!! Look at here!! The first one I've done was orrible, but i like so much that one!! I can improve more then!!" and that's it XD
And yes! That is what I do every time >v< when I see errors, I go to search tutorial or references for fix the problems so the next time I know how to draw it >v<
