Really like the style here.
I think Tin Man's my favourite. Though Toto and his derp face definitely come close.Β
Also, Scarecrow's hat and its Burtony curl. Noice, real noice. And the Cowardly Lion's look kind of reminds me of Simba, which is cool.Β

little did i know that my sister was watching over my shoulder when i was looking at this. she nearly gave me a heart attack when she suddenly said, "d*** you conveniently placed axe." (she's 16) i curse the day she discovered hormones. *sob* i will never look at the world the same.

haha! i wouldn't be surprised if people noticed. i would have as well(eventually anyways) but i hadn't gotten a good look at the picture before she said it. are you sure it was an accident and not your subconscious saying, "that's kind of wrong looking i should strategically place the axe in front of the lion w/o nadiezda noticing*cue evil plotting face w/ the most suspicious smirk ever* <(º¬º<)

I love this style and these characters together. It looks amazing. Personally, I would've never thought to combine the two. I would've gone with something softer. And I especially love the look on Toto's face.

Man, I gotta tell ya. Seeing this rendition really takes me back.
Wizard of Oz was one of my favorite movies growing up and even as a grown-up it still mystifies me.
Still, why isn't Dorthy wearing the ruby slippers in this? Is it based more on the actual Baum story this way?
