Wonderful painting. It is almost like a faded photo and this emphasises the solitary feel. You are great at capturing expressions. There is a wistfulness in the expression which captures the mood.

Actually I wasn't sure about the face expression myself. I think I have succeeded if everybody sees something different in the face

Kind of a trademark, sure. It's nice how art makes you think in a different way about surrounding world. I do not have many troubles with reading people faces, although sometimes it is tricky. And maybe it's soething about finnish people that amkes their face expression mroe difficult to read? I didn't think of such things back then, when I was to Finland
