This is such a great self-portrait! I really like the composition and the timing of it all, how it's so spontaneous.
The colours are great! The fact that you're dressed all in black really makes you stand out against the background.
A square would work nicely, but it's great as a landscape too!

I’m really digging the overall vibe you’re communicating with this shot. It feels contemplative, if not slightly melancholic and somber and I really like the color palette you’ve chosen to work with here. I also appreciate how her eyes fall on the grid of thirds, it makes for a more visually appealing shot, but there’s a lot of unused negative space to the model’s left and above her head, I’d shoot slightly lower, not necessarily tighter, and take up the negative space by centering her more or adding another element to the left possibly. Still, this is a lovely shot!

Thank you very much for this! I agree with what you said about the positioning too. It was difficult to get it right without being able to see it myself. I've got to do some more tests
