Birthday picture for !
Happy Birthday!It's Hitsugaya Toshiro from Bleach using his bankai! Reference screen was from the Bounto arc, which seemed fitting since she was the one that got me through that arc and Hitsugaya is one our favorite characters, so yeah...
Lines in pen, and colored with water color pencils. Probably shouldn't have done the background in blue/black since those are the main colors on the figure and it doesn't have a good contrast, but meh can't change it now. XD

Hitsugaya has never looked better
I really love the blend of colors for the background, it compliments him really well and makes him pop out more too. I really love how you can see the ridges in the watercolor paper, it makes it really intimate when you can see little details like that.

I really love the way you did the lines (as always) with the varied thickness/boldness at just the appropriate parts, and the lineart itself is extremely well done: good job with getting the pose and the fluttering of the clothes down! And the colors! I dunno how in the hell you made it look so icy, but damn good job with that. The face and hair came out really well too.
Hahah, and yes, it is somewhat appropriate that it's when he's kicking ass in the filler arc, seeing as how we had to be each other's emotional support in getting through those terrible, terrible episodes...
