Hi Naerko! I finally found a "good" pair of shoes for my N Cosplay there very similar to yours but different brand, um I wanted to know how did you paint your shoes? like paint brush or something? oh! and I want to paint the mesh parts black but I am afraid to get the holes covered... any advice? thanks again NandZoroark and P.S I live in Ontario Canada

Yeah I just used a paint brush for painting my shoes. For not filling holes, use less paint on your brush and go over the spot lightly with your brush held at an angle to the shoe surface. So the bristles go over the holes not into them.
I'm in California so the weather has been beautiful. Downside to that is drought though. >.<

The big earthquake was more southern California, I'm in northern California. So I didn't feel a thing. We have the opposite of extreme weather here. It's pretty much beautiful and sunny all year round. Just a few rainfalls a year. I would hate to have to deal with snow and blizzards! XD

XD I thought you did get hit by it! glad you didn't, and snow isn't that bad, IN Canada, we love snow, sure it has it's moments, but I wouldn't want to live in a place that as T*rnad*o's cause That...along with thunder and lighting storms, I really hate so much! I'am glad I live in Sudbury Ontario Canada cause we never had one since 1970 and also its cause its a mountain terrain area and no flat land whatsoever or at all cause what I mentioned before is that it needs long flat land like farm fields like in Kansas or tenenasee or like texas so I 'am glad your safe from those storms too! between you and me,

The hat is just a regular black baseball cap and stitched a rectangle of white fabric on the front.

Hey thank you so much! i have "one" last Q: to you *Naerko!(thats been bothering me for awhile) XD can you please put the necklace in your hand/palm and take a pic of it, i cant really tell how big or small the sphere thing is, LoL! Also if you haven't gotten your shoes yet. Nike has a new line out with green soles. I see people walking around all the time with them and I think they would make a great base for N's shoes. Just have to paint the top part green.

XD for some reason, i cant find a solid black plastic ball the same size as yours on google, and i'am not that good with making the sphere part of N's Necklace. i had a Qustion is it better to make N's bangels out of hot glue sticks or buy real ones cause i cant find any like his on google any ideas? well anyways hope you write back! Yeah it is often hard to find exactly what you need for costumes. That's why it is often easier to make your costumes props if you want them to be accurate to the character. If not plastic, you could try looking in a craft store for large wood bead, or really anything spherical that is the right size and then paint over it. Making balls out of Sculpy clay is not too hard. You just have to roll it between your palms until it is round then bake it. Same for the bangles. Use whatever you can get your hands on that will do the trick.

For N's pants look for a dark khaki colored pant. Mine are Dickies brand that I bought from Goodwill.

I actually found the Ahnu shoe i wanted... but its on ebay, and i am confused, it says ships to U.S.A... does that mean i can't get it? cause i dont live in the U.S and those look the closets to N's shoes please help...i... iam so confused.. i really like to have the shoes for my N cosplay. i have thrift stores but i cant find them shoes anywhere! are they rare or something? If it is on ebay, it is sold by someone. If they say they will only ship to USA, you might be out of luck. If you have an ebay account you can message the seller and request shipping to Canada. Doesn't hurt to ask, and if you let 'em know you seriously want to buy them they might be able to work something out.

Its just cause those Ahnu shoes (really look a lot like N's)(sigh) to bad you probably woudnt want to sell them to me! cause you probably need them for your N cosplay! And I have been searching for those exact kind at diffrent thrift stores for 2 years and they dont seem to have them, and also online they charge $80-$150 for a pair! Jeez! LOL! I'll try it out! LOL! your right, my shoe size is men 10! *Naerko, i dont want to be crazy of asking you this but, would you be willing to maybe sell your N Necklace to me? cause i tried everything...and i wasted 10 $ on doing it out of clay and stuff trying to make one and Failed, i tried beads, wood balls, plastic, and clay! i know it sounds crazy but (sigh) I.. just... really like it! Hey Thanks! thats means alot! um... i gave up on the shiny alakazam i'll probably get ashiny pokemon worth getting not sure what though, oh by the way! i did by chance find a pare of shoes that look very similer to yours they have similer dots on it(similer to yours) and the sole and even the right size and same laces! fwah! i finally got a good pair of shoes very similer to yours for my N cosplay! sadly though it dosent say what brand, all i know in my opinion is they might be a ahnu brand cause of the laces.

Well for my shoes, the first time I painted them I went with a pale green for the soles, but that paint shipped so I had to repaint it. The new color is a brighter more lime-green. I liked the first color better, but the paint wouldn't stay like the new one does. For the top part of the shoe it is a basic prime forest green.

For the voidcube I used a goldenrod yellow color with pale green circles on the corner pieces. Used gold for the square bracelets.

thanks ever so much! this has giving me some great help! umm.. something bothers me though, is it cause the sun or something in this picture that's making those colors like the /void cube/bangles/shoes to alter the color? cause I have the paint for the void cube but it looks darker then yours cause it says just marigold, also for the forest green it looks darker than yours but it just says forest green, also I could'nt find any pale green paint so I don't know what to do. why do your colors look like they match N's? any sugestions? thanks! please reply!

Paint can be mixed! Get some white paint of the same kind you got and blend them together before painting your accessories! For the pale green, use mostly white paint then just mix in drops of green til it gets to a shade you like.

Mixing paints takes a bit of practice. Sometimes to get a lighter color you don't have to just keep adding white, but maybe yellow, or a light blue or whatever you need to get the color closer to how you want.
As for the leather chord. I got mine at Michaels, but just about any craft or general store that has a "make your own jewelry" section should have something like that.

Hey Naerko! can you draw a picture of how and where the The wire is in the black orb? like draw a circle on a piece of paper and draw where the wire is and how there sandwiched into it! XD also um did you glue craft foam to the orb then put sculpy on it? or did you just use sculpy for the ring/ arch? please reply back! thanks merry Christmas! and also any advice of what proper way to bake the ball for it to be perfectly round?

The sculpy is the orb only, you just roll it around your palms to get it round. I stuck wire in it just to help anchor the craft foam arches that go around it since they stick out perpendicular to the surface of the orb. The arches make a perfect cross where they intersect. One arch goes all the way around the orb (think like the rings around Saturn). Then the other one is only a half arch so it stops halfway around the orb.
