as i went through your gallery i saw that design is your country of expertise !!!
But this watery background really rocks ! Is it washed with watercolour Β before the design is done ?Β

I love these! We have similar styles and pieces but yours are so much more intricate and beautiful! I will learn a lot just from looking at yours. Mine are all starting to look so ... mediocre and simple.

thank you. I am usually more of a mixed media artist but my health has been bad lately and I'm stuck pretty much "inactive" so doodling with pen and marker is all I've been able to do... So I've not been able to be in my art room or make jewelry because it causes me to move a lot and then my body rebels. But I at least have the doodling outlet, it is helping to keep me somewhat sane. LOL

How do you manage to do so many things?

I've been sick since the first of June, haven't done much of anything other than doodle at my desk or while laying back on the couch. Before I did a lot, the art and YouTube videos, the jewelry, crafts, a job, yard work, house work, and so much more, just kind of taking turns doing things as I felt the inspiration, sometimes more focused in one area more than all others hahaha. I hate being still or inactive. Drives me very crazy. Now I fight to keep my housework done (can't stand a dirty house either) and my yard looks horrible and I'm unemployed and causing our financial situation to become a real problem. I hate doctors and the medical care system in this country.

wow, this is beautiful! did you paint the watercolor part first? the pens work ok over that? this is a very very cool piece. i like what :iconperiwinkepaisley: said about the colors being like sherbert!

I did do the watercolour first... The pens did work on top of it
I tried painting on top of a drawing in another piece, but that seemed to make the black lines very dull... Gotta figure out a better way

i thought that might be the case with pens over painting. you have a ton of patience to do that super detailed drawing if the pens were giving you that much trouble! gosh, i wonder how you could make that work...that's got me thinking, cause what you did is gorgeous!
