I was gonna leave a comment about what i like and dislike about Michael Bay films but I don't feel like getting chewed up and spit up by the Bay loyalists and Bay haters.

I don't have many complaints about the Bay movies. They are big, loud and dumb, but they are also fun. However, you have to admit that Bay managed to kill more 'bots on both sides than Underbase powered Starscream did. He's a perfect choice for a TF bogeyman

One things i've always wondered...im not saying the new transformers movies were perfect (they weren't) but do people really believe they're SO bad cause of Bay? I mean, if he made the exact same movie but the robots in it weren't the transformers, like if they were just a new IP, would people reallly think the exact same movie was so bad?

If it's called "THE TRANSFORMERS" then... where are THE TRANSFORMERS. All I saw were candid woman ass shots intermixxed with a whiny emo brat and military slurrs running about with gross product placements and maybe 5 to 10 seconds of actual robot screen time.
Besides this is just typical of what Bay's movies consist of. Eye candy women, outrageous special effects, so-so acting, and sensory overload of explosions. He's more formulaic than an Algebra book.
I just want a movie ABOUT TRANSFORMERS. Not HUMANS. There's tons of movies about THOSE already.

These movies were half as bad as they are now, if they were NOT under the title of Transformers... If they were called "shia's amazing adventures" they were almost cool!
You know, for the Transformers, i wish for a movie with some plots and story. And robots in it, interacting with each other, not just being there for a background decoration of how awesome humans(US army) are.

Yeah i know...i just feel if they had a generic IP in place of the bots then people wouldnt hate them as much, probably becuase there wouldnt be such an emotional investment in them. I do understand people ahve strong feelings because of it, i just doubt it would have the same uproar with generic characters.
Though i agree a LOT of transformers stuff these days has them play second-fiddle to people...that's crap.
